       to the use of the plts and their heires lawfully begotten for ever and
       in default of such Issue to the use of the plt Edward for life remainder
       to Ocane and his heirs for ever according to the last menconed Deeds
       save only that the said John had in the marriage of his Daughter
       with the said Brayne in Consideracon thereof and if the 20000. of
       Tobacco Hill past to the use of Susanna Ocane and her maintaynance at
       schoole in England by some writeing assured the said Brayne to procure
       a pattent for the said Henry Brayne and in his own name as aforesaid
       and to Convey the 1000 Acres ^alsoe^ as aforesaid  And the said Brayne being dead
       the Comp.lt Jane haveing an equitable Right to the said 1700 Acres after
       her Fathers death and of the said 1000 Acres in p.rsent possession as by the said
       writeing if produced would more at large appeare  And they further
       shewed that the Comp.lt Edward payd the said Pye and Lynes and
       did well maintaine the said Ocane till June 1685 and still was ready
       to provide him of all things necessary  And the plt being wholly
       ignorant of the forme and method the Law prescribes in Conveying
       of Lands and settleing Estates did not cause the said writeing or Memd.m
       to be recorded northe Two last Deeds in such time as the Law directs
       of which the said Giles Blizard takeing Notice & advantage and being a
       Suitor to the said Susanna did perswade the said Ocane to make him a
       Deed of the said Land called Canes purchase and the said John Ocane
       by indenture dated the 4.th of August 1684 thereby reciteing a marriage
       to be had between the said Giles Blizard and the said Susanna and of Five
       shillings in hand payd did Give Grante and Convey to the said Giles Blizard
       his heirs and assignes for ever all his right title Claime and Interest in
       the said 700 Acres of land called Canes purchase together with all his right
       Title and Interest in the said Land called Bueplaines being 1000 Acres  And
       after Giles Blizard was married he haveing got the Bill for 20000. Tobacco
       threatned to sue the Comp.lts as Adm.rs of Brayne unles he would deliver to
       the said Giles Blizard the writeing past by the said John ocane to the said
       Henry Brayne upon his marriage for the Conveying the said 1000 acres
       to him and his wife and unles the p.lts would alsoe release their title to
       the said Bueplaines whereupon the Comp.lts being impoverished with the
       payment of the Debts of Brayne and Ocane and being wholly ignorant of
       the said Deed from John Ocane to Giles Blizard did about the 4.th day of
       October 1684 deliver up to the said John Ocane and Giles Blizard the said
       writeing and did signe and seale some writeing of release of Bueplaines
       to him and thereupon they delivered to the plts the Bill of 20000. of
       Tobacco and Blizard not only entered Blueplaines but alsoe into Canes
       purchase soe Granted and Conveyed to the plts as aforesaid and sealed
       plantacon thereon and the said Ocane without cause had removed himself
       from the plts to the said Giles Blizard and they had contrived to defeat
       the plts of the said 700 Acres soe of right belonging to them and bought
       and payd for upon the severall valueable Consideracons aforesaid
       First by Covenant made with Brayne secondly upon the plts marriage
       Thirdly on the purchase and consideracon of paying Pye and Lynes Debts
       and the greate Debt due to Comp.lts as Adm.r of Brayne for the Barbados
       Goods Negroes Tobacco by him mispent and otherwise as aforesaid which came
       in all to noe less then 120 odd Thousand pounds of Tobacco being much not
       then all the said Lands Canes Land was worth with the land Called Jericho
       besides the 20000. of Tobacco Bill past by Brayne and the maintainance of
       said Susanna at Schoole as aforesaid the said Ocane and Blizard combined
       together and takeing advantage of the plts Deed not record said the
       Complts had noe right to any part or at most but to a Moiety of Canes
       purchase and that only upon the Condicons in the last menconed Deed
