       Walker did accept of the same in discharge or satisfaccon of any
       Debt due from the s.d Comp.lt to the s.d Walker hee Knew Not butt
       utterly denyed that ever he heard saw or had in his pocession
       any other note of the s.d Thomas Taylor for 7000.tt of tobacco
       payable to the s.d Walker on account of the said Comp.lt & therefore
       hoped hee should not bee Longer held or restreyned in this Court
       Butt the said Thomas Taylor putt in his plea to the s.d Bill &
       thereby by protestacons not confessing or acknowledging any
       of the Matters ot things in the said Bill conteyned to be true
       in such Manner & forme as the same are thereby sett forth
       and alleadged for plea to the same Bill sayed that the said
       Comp.lt at the tyme of the Release in the said Bill Menconed
       given was and yet is a p.rson Very Expert & subtilly
       Running in the Management of his affaires and not soe Ignorant
       and unskilfull as hee himselfe by his said bill of Comp.lts hath
       set himselfe fort but well Knowing that all Matters of debts
       Dutyes & demands were secured & fully ended between him the said
       Comp.lt unto this Defend.t of & concering the suite against the s.d
       John Quigley as by the said Comp.lts Bill is Speciously set forth
       but also all & all other manner of accons suite cause & causes
       of accons & suites Bills bonds writings accounts debts contrversyes
       Judgm.ts Executions & demands whatsoever as by the s.d
       release here brought into this Hon.ble Court more fully appeareth
       and therefore he prayed Judgem.t of this Hon.ble Court of
       the said comp.lt against his owne release should bee admitted
       to give any further trouble or molestation to this defend.t for
       any matter or thing in the said releass conteyned  This Court
       thereupon and upon reading the said complainants Bill and
       the defend.t dayes answeare and the plea of the said defendent
       Taylor & the Noate Signed by the Said Taylor to the s.d Thomas
       Walker for the payment of the sume of 6207.tt of tobacco
       upon the account of the Said complainant and the releass
       given by the sayd complainant & to the said Taylor touching the
       Debt of John Quigley in the pleadings upon the compromise
       of the differences between the s.d complainant and the s.d Taylor
       Touchin the Debt of John Quigley in the pleadings named was
       fully & cleerly Satisfyed that the Said Release soe by the said
       complainant given to the said Defend.t Taylor was never intended
       to release or discharge the Publick Debt due to be paid by the
       said Taylor to the s.d complainant or soe much as the said complainant
       had ordered him the s.d Taylor to pay away that is to say
       6000.tt thereof to the said W.m Stevens Esq.r and 6207.tt of tob
       to the said Thomas Walker as afsd in case the same were not
       really and bona fide payd as it plainly appeared to this Court
       the said 6207.tt tobacco due to bee payd to the said Walker by
       the sayd Taylors Note passed for the same was not payd
       And for as much as the said suite comenced by the sayd Day
       at the Comon Law against the said complainant by the was occationed
       by the sayd Thomas Taylor his denyall & refusall
       to pay the said 6207.tt of tobacco to s.d Day according to his
       note afsd and the s.d Taylor insisting on his release & the s.d
       complainant was thereupon Necessitated to bring this suite
       for his Releife in the premisses and for as much also as it
       appeared to this court that the said Thomas Taylor had
       made some overture to satisfie the s.d complainant
