       Judeth his wife
                ag.t                                        Underneath a true Coppy of a Sup.a Issued out of
       Sam.ll Lane sonn & heire       this Court Directed to the deft comanding him under
         of Sam.ll Lane decd             a certaine payne in the sd writ mentioned to appeare
                                                    here y.e Second Day of May in the Seaventh yeare of
                                                    the Dominion of the R.t hono.ble Charles Lord Baltemore
                                                    &c Annoq Dom 1682 to answer unto the said
                                                    Complts upon their bill of Revivo.r then & there to
                                                    be exhibited against him &c was written as followeth
April y.e 5.th
    1682
       M.r Robert Franklin sheriffe of Ann Arundell County made oath that on the
       said Fifth day of Aprill he Delivered unto Samuel Lane Sonn and heire of
       Samuel lane dec.d a Sup.a und.r the great Seale of this Province & und.r the
       hand of the hono.ble Philip Calvert Esq Chancello.r of wch the above is a true
       Coppy
                            May y.e 2.d 1682   Jurat Coram me   Wm Calvert

       Afterwards to wit the sixth day of May in the yeare aforesaid came the said
       Nicholas Painter and Judeth his wife and prayed that the Cause aforesaid might
       be and stand revived ag.t the said Samuel Lane Sonn and heire of the said Sam.l
       Lane decd to all Intents and purposes as the Same was in the life time of
       the said Samuel Lane decd  And it is granted unto them by the Court here
                & this Cause is Continued untill next Court


       John Browne         In Chancery The Comp.lt maketh ^Oath^ that upon the Second Day of Feb.ry
                ag.t                   instant he served the Deft with a Sup.a Issued out of this Court und.r the
       Thomas Cosden    seale thereof by delivering to him self the said Sup.a und.r the Seale as aforesd
                                wch sd Sup.a was directed to the said Deft & was for his appeareance in this
                                Court the 28.th day of this Instant Month to answere a Bill at y.e Comp.lts Suite

                                John Brome                             Sworne y.e 8.th day of Feb.ry 1681/2
