       That the said Comp.lt might if hee had Pleased at the time when
       hee made the said Deed of Mortgage of the Land aforesaid have
       Received in the said bill of sale of the said psonall Estate hee
       Releaseing to the defts his interest in those goods Plate & Servant
       w.ch the Comp.lt had delivered to the said Deft att the rates & Prices
       aforesaid but the Comp.lt would not receive the same but desired the
       same might Remaine in the defts Custody untill they had settled all
       their Accounts & differences betweene them and hee Denyed the said
       Mortgaged Lands were worth One hundred thousand Pounds of
       Tobacco  That true It was all accounts were Included in y.e s.d Mortgage
       & w.ch amounted to the said sume of Twenty five thousand Eighty and
       Eight pounds of Tobacco and soe much at the time of the said Mortgage
       was Justly due to the deft  And the deft sayed that for what debts
       the deft payd for the said Comp.lt as aforesaid To witt to Collo.ll Henry
       Jowles John Staynes John Hance Collon.ll Darnall and John Baker
       hee the deft hath Delivered him up the bills and Receipts for the
       same and for those other debts payd to Thomas Browne Cap.t
       Bourne John Abington John Griggs M.r Vanswearingen Thomas
       Cosden & John Baker p account Nicholas Painter and W.m Parker
       hee was ready to deliver him up the bills or sufficient discharges
       for the same as also for the defts owne debts That the said Comp.lt
       standing soe indebted to the said Defts as aforesaid & haveing
       further occasion for Tobacco the said deft Did upon the five &
       Twentyeth day of October 1677 at the Request of the s.d Comp.lt
       pay for him to Thomas Banks Three thousand foure hundred
       forty and seaven pounds of Tobacco To M.r Vanswearingen for
       the Remaind.r of an ord.r of Court one hundred pounds of Tobacco
       By the Remaind.r of an ord.r of Court Due to M.r Griggs fourteene
       Pounds of Tobacco by more Tobacco paid to George Lingan upon a
       bill due from the said Comp.lt to John and Thomas Duddlestone Two
       Thousand three hundred Twenty and six pounds of Tobacco w.ch w.th
       the Charges amounted to the sume of Two thousand six hundred
       sixty and seaven pounds of Tobacco also one thousand Twenty & five
       Pounds of Tobacco To Jn.o Hance It being the Remaind.r of a bill
