3-108.
(c) (1) Each member serves for a term of 5 years beginning
July 1 after his appointment and until a successor is appointed
and qualifies.
(2) The Governor shall appoint a new member to fill
any vacancy on an appointed board for the remainder of that term
and until a successor is appointed and qualifies.
(3) Unless otherwise disqualified under this section,
a member of a board is eligible for reappointment. [However,
except in Kent County, an individual may not serve for more than
two consecutive terms.]
3-601.
(d) (3) AN INDIVIDUAL MAY NOT SERVE FOR MORE THAN 2
CONSECUTIVE TERMS.

(f) (3) Each member of the county board of the following
counties shall receive the following amounts annually for
traveling and other expenses:
(vi) Talbot County:
1. Travel.......................$300; and
2. Other expenses for each meeting,
other than the annual meeting attended on behalf of the
county................................................ $25 [; and].

(a) (1) A principal, assistant principal, or school
security guard of a public school may make a reasonable search of
a student on the school premises if he[:] has a reasonable
belief that the student has in his possession an item, the
possession of which is a criminal offense under the laws of this
State.

(a) (4) "Parent" means:
(i) [Child's] A CHILD'S natural parents;
(ii) A guardian;
(iii) A person acting as a parent of a child
such as a relative or a stepparent with whom a child lives
including those relatives or stepparents who are the foster
parents; or
