time of layoff or separation from employment or during a period
of unemployment resulting from a cause other than vacation or
holiday, shall not be considered wages.
Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment
80A.
(a) (4) "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Labor and
Industry or the Commissioner's designee[;].

9-213.
(c) The [state's attorney] STATE'S ATTORNEY of the county
in which the violation occurred or [of] the Attorney General of
[the state] THIS STATE shall institute proceedings at once
against the person charged with the violation, if, in his
judgment, the information warrants such action.
Article - Commercial Law
12-103.
(c) (1) Subject to paragraph [2] (2) of this subsection, a
lender may charge interest at an effective rate of simple
interest not in excess of 18 percent per year on the unpaid
principal balance of the loan. However, on a loan made on or
after July 1, 1982, and before July 1, 1985, a lender may charge
an effective rate of simple interest not in excess of 24 percent
per year on the unpaid principal balance of the loan provided
that:

With respect to any loan made at a rate pursuant to
[Sections] § 12-103(a) and (c)[,] or § 12-404 of the Commercial
Law Article or [Section] § 6-507 of the Financial Institutions
Article, the lender must comply with [Section] § 14-1302 of this
[title] ARTICLE except that subsection (c) of [Section] § 14-1302
is not applicable.
Article - Education
3-105.
(b) If a county school system has an enrollment of less
than 50,000 students, the county board shall have five members,
except that:
(1) The Worcester County Board shall have the number
of members provided in subsection [(d)](E) of this section; and
(2) Any county board that had more than five members
on July 1, 1969, shall retain that number of members.
