7-6A-20.
(E) A BOND OR OTHER SECURITY FILED AS ABOVE SHALL CONTAIN A
PROVISION THAT IT CANNOT BE CANCELED BY THE SURETY, BANK, OR
OTHER ISSUING ENTITY, EXCEPT AFTER NOT LESS THAN 90 DAYS WRITTEN
NOTICE TO THE DEPARTMENT AND TO THE OPERATOR. AT LEAST 45 DAYS
PRIOR TO THE CANCELLATION DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE, THE
OPERATOR SHALL FILE WITH THE DEPARTMENT A COMMITMENT FROM A
SURETY, BANK, OR OTHER ISSUING ENTITY, TO PROVIDE A SUBSTITUTE
BOND OR OTHER SECURITY WHICH WILL BE EFFECTIVE ON THE
CANCELLATION DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE.

Oyster Dredging - Wicomico County
FOR the purpose of removing a certain time restriction as to when
leaseholders of oyster grounds in Wicomico County may dredge
for oysters; and generally relating to dredging for oysters
on leaseholds in Wicomico County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Natural Resources
4-1117.
(c) A licensee may dredge [only between the hours of 7:30
a.m. and 4:00 p.m.] on any day except Sunday. Notice of intention
to dredge shall be given in writing to every leasehold owner
adjoining the leasehold area to be dredged.
