AN ACT concerning
Rabies Control - Preexposure Immunization
FOR the purpose of providing that the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene shall provide preexposure immunization for
rabies to only certain people free of charge.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health - General
[18-314.
The Department shall provide pre-exposure immunization,
without charge, to any individual who the public health
veterinarian determines has a high risk of exposure to rabies.]
18-314.
THE DEPARTMENT SHALL PROVIDE PREEXPOSURE IMMUNIZATION,
WITHOUT CHARGE, TO ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO:
(1) PROVIDES RABIES CONTROL SERVICES AT THE REQUEST
OF THE DEPARTMENT; OR
