HARRY HUGHES, Governor
days in advance of the date of expiration of said license. The biennial renewal fee for licenses shall be {$50] $130 $70. The Board shall make an exception to the foregoing renewal provision
in the case of a person serving in the armed forces of the United
States. 336. (a)  The registration fee for professional land surveyors is
$50, of which $20 shall accompany the application, and $30 shall
be paid on issuance of the certificate. (b)  The registration fee for a property line surveyor is
$35, of which $15 shall accompany the application, and $20 shall
be paid on issuance of the certificate. (c)  Certificates of registration shall expire on the last
day of June of each odd-numbered year, and shall be invalid after
that date unless renewed. The secretary of the Board shall notify
by regular mail every person certified under this subtitle of the
date of expiration of his certificate, and the amount of the fee
required for its biennial renewal. The notice shall be mailed to
the registrant at his last known address at least one month in
advance of the date of the expiration of the certificate. Failure
to receive notice does not prevent the certificate from becoming
invalid after the expiration date. Renewal may be effected at any
time prior to July 1 by the payment of a fee of [$40] $90 for
professional land surveyors and [$30] $80 for property line
surveyors. Renewal shall be evidenced by the issuance of a
biennial registration card, bearing the date of expiration and
the signatures of the chairman and secretary of the Board. On
failure of any registrant to renew his certificate biennially
prior to July, as required above, his right to practice shall be
invalidated, but the certificate may be renewed at any time
within the next succeeding 24 months upon the payment of a fee of
[$50] $100 for professional land surveyors and [$40] $90 for
property line surveyors. Renewal shall be evidenced by the
issuance of [an] A biennial registration card, bearing the date
of expiration and the signatures of the chairman and secretary of
the Board. If any registrant fails to renew his certificate
within the 24 month period provided above, and later applies for
renewal, he may be required to present reasons for the renewal.
The Board may grant a renewal of the certificate in which case
the renewal fee is the same as the registration fee for
professional land surveyors and for property line surveyors. (d)  The fee for land surveyor-in-training is $10 and shall
include the cost of examination and Issuance of the certificate. (e)  The registration fee for a certificate of authorization
for a corporation or partnership is $50 and the renewal fee shall
be [$70] $120. Certificates of authorization shall expire on the
last day of June and shall be invalidated after that date unless
biennially renewed.
