corporation other than the member of the partnership or
association, or officer of the corporation named in the license
issued to such partnership, association, or corporation, a
[biennial] fee of $20, and for each biennial registration of the
license thereafter, a fee of [$20] $30. (d)  For each real estate salesman's license, a fee of
[twenty dollars ($20.00),] $20 and for each biennial registration
of said license thereafter, a fee of [twenty dollars ($20.00)]
$30. (e)  For each additional office or place of business, a
biennial fee of [five dollars ($5.00)] $5. (f)   For each change of office or place of business, a fee
of $5. (g)   For each change of name of licensee on the records of
the Commission, a fee of $5. (h) For each duplicate license, where, the original license
is lost, or destroyed, and affidavit made thereof, a fee of [two
dollars and fifty cents ($2.50)] $2.50. (i) For each duplicate or transfer of salesman's license, a
fee of $10. (j) For each duplicate registration, where the original
card is lost or destroyed and affidavit made thereof, a fee of
[one ($1.00) dollar] $1. (k) Nonresident applicants in states, territories or
subdivisions of the United States where a similar licensing law
is in effect shall pay the same fee or fees and comply with the
same regulations, including the maintenance of a place of
business, the law of their resident state or territory requires
of a resident of Maryland, provided such fee or fees shall in no
case be less than those required of a resident applicant. (1) If any check tendered to the Commission in payment of
any fee or charge is returned as uncollectable, an additional fee
of $5 shall be collected from the person presenting the check in
order to cover the cost of collection. (m) For each certification of licensure, a fee of $10. 314. Licenses shall expire on the thirtieth day of September next
following their issuance or renewal of each even number year
and shall become invalid on that date unless renewed biennially.
It is the duty of the Board to notify, at his last registered
address, every person registered under this subheading of the
date of expiration of his license and the amount of fee necessary
for its renewal; this notice shall be mailed at least thirty (30)
