HARRY HUGHES, Governor
FOR the purpose of altering the amount of fees for certain
licenses issued by certain boards and commissions within the
Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing in the
Department of Licensing and Regulation; clarifying language;
and generally relating to the fees of certain boards and
commissions. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 56 - Licenses Section 223, 3147 336, and 519 Annotated Code of Maryland (1979 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 75A - Public Accountancy Section 11 and 11A Annotated Code of Maryland (1980 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, The Public Local Laws of Baltimore City
Section 4-2 Article 4 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition and 1981 Supplement, as amended) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article 56 - Licenses 223. The following fees shall be charged by and paid to the
Commission by resident applicants. (a)  For each real estate broker's license a [biennial] fee
of [seventy dollars ($70.00)] $70 and for each biennial
registration of said license[,] thereafter, a fee of [seventy
dollars ($70.00)] $80. (b)  For taking any written examination in order to be a
real estate broker, a fee of [ten dollars ($10.00)] $10 and for
real estate salesman, a fee of [five dollars ($5.00)] $5. In
addition, applicants taking either examination shall be required
to pay directly to the testing service selected by the Commission
a fee covering the actual cost of giving the examination.
(c) For each license as an associate real estate broker
issued to a member of a partnership, association, or officer of a
