AN ACT to amend Chapter 22, title "Fire Safety Code" of the
Montgomery County Coda, 1972, as amended, for the purpose of
adding new Section 22-97, title "Address Numbers" to require a
conspicuous display of the address of certain structures, and to
require the hundred block of each street to be displayed on
street signs.
Effective Date February 8, 1982.

AN ACT to amend Section 52-21, title "Levied; amount", of
Article II, title "Real Property Transfer Tax" of Chapter 52,
title "Taxation" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended,

Fund generated by the transfer tax on the initial transfer of
condominium units.
Effective Date March 1, 1982.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 52, title "Taxation", of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by amending Section
52-2, title "Date of finality ..." for the purpose of providing
for imposition of a penalty on overdue taxes by the Council by
resolution; repealing Section 52-5, title "When taxes due and
payable; interest"; amending Section 52-9, title "Listing and
assessment of personal property" for the purpose of imposing
interest and providing for imposition of penalties on overdue
taxes by the Council by resolution; and amending Section 52-36,
title "Sale of property for taxes generally" for the purpose of
providing for collection of penalties and expenses of sale.
Effective Date December 3, 1981.
