BILL NO. 22-80
AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Section 52-21, title "Levied;
amount", of Article II, title "Real Property Transfer Tax" of
Chapter 52, title "Taxation" of the Montgomery County Code 1972,
as amended, by adding a new subsection (h) to provide that a
transfer tax is imposed on the initial transfer" of a residential
unit subject to a condominium regime, to provide for exemptions
from the tax, to provide for payment of all taxes and interest
collected into a special fund to be used for certain purposes, to
provide for the adoption of regulations, and for expenditures
from the fund.
Effective Date July 28, 1980.

BILL NO. 24-80
AN ACT authorizing the issuance of bonds of Montgomery
County, Maryland, in the principal amount not exceeding
$24,180,000 upon its full faith and credit for site acquisition
and public buildings and the necessary furnishings and fixed
permanent equipment therefor, prescribing the terms and
conditions, by reference, upon which said bonds shall be issued
and delivered and other incidental details with respect thereto,
and providing for the application of the proceeds of such bonds
and for the levy of unlimited ad valorem taxes for the payment of
the. principal and interest thereof.
Effective Date December 25, 1980.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 56, title "Urban Renewal
and Community Development" of the Montgomery County Code, 1972,
as amended, by amending Article VII, title "Condominium
Conversion Emergency Aid Fund" to make the program retroactive in
its application to coincide with the institution of the
condominium moratorium.
Effective Date July 28, 1980.
