AN ACT to amend Chapter 2, title "Administration" of the
Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended, by repealing and
reenacting with amendments Section 2-25, title "Composition and
Functions of the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer," to
add certain functions to the Office of the Chief Administrative
Officer which were previously assigned to the Office of Community
and Government Relations; and by repealing and reenacting with
amendments Section 2-64H, title "Generally" of Division 14, title
"Office of Community and Government Relations" to abolish the
"Office of Community and Government Relations" and to add a new
"Office of Information" to the Executive Branch and to provide
for its functions.
Effective Date November 27, 1980.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 39, title "Rat Control" of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by repealing and
reenacting with amendments Section 39-1, title "Definitions,"
Section 39-3, title "Inspections by director; when warrants
required; right of entry, "Section 39-4, title "Rat infestations
prohibited; notice of violation; extermination by director;
appeal from order of director," Section 39-5, title "Public
property," and Section 39-8, title "Penalties for violations," to
provide for the transfer of administrative and enforcement
functions from the Department of Environmental Protection to the
Department of Health and to make certain other technical changes.
Effective Date July 23, 1980.
