AN ACT amending Section 16.101(5) and 16.111(3) of Subtitle
1 "Subdivision and Land Development Regulations" of Title 16
"Planning, Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development
Regulations" of the Howard County Code to provide that
subdivision layouts conform to certain elements of the General
Plan and that development densities, land uses and bulk
requirements are to be determined by the zoning map and
regulations and subdivision regulations and declaring this to be
an emergency measure.

Bill No. 42
AN ACT adding new Subtitle 6 "Lease Extensions - Conversion
of Rental Housing to a Condominium Regime" to Title 13 "Housing,
Urban Renewal and Economic Development" of the Howard County Code
in order to require owners of rental facilities to extend the
leases of certain households upon the conversion of the facility
to a condominium, defining terms, defining lease provision
including rent adjustments, providing for the administration and
enforcement of this subtitle providing penalties for violations
of the subtitle; and declaring this Act to be an emergency
measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
welfare and safety.
