subsection (d), "Levy for roads"; by repealing and reenacting,
with amendments, Article IX, "Centralized Purchasing", Section
902(g), "County Purchasing Policies and Practices", Section 904,
"Competitive Bidding", Section 905, "Conformity with Budget
Limitations and Allotments", and Section 911, "Furthering
Legislation"; by repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article X, "Miscellaneous", Section 1006, "Surety Bonds"; to
alter the requirements for quadrennial and special audits for
County agencies; to amend the provisions authorizing transfer of
appropriations among County agencies; to alter the circumstances
under which a capital project is to be considered abandoned; to
amend the requirements for certification of certain County
expenditures; to authorize the collection of certain fees for
future road construction or spot road improvements; to provide
procedures for the sale of County owned real property; to amend
certain provisions relating to competitive bidding for County
contracts and sales; to increase minimum amounts required for
surety bonds on certain County officers and employees; to make
stylistic and corrective changes; to adopt generally the omnibus
proposal of the Anne Arundel County Charter Revision Commission
concerning budgetary, fiscal, and purchasing procedures; and to
submit these amendments to the qualified voters of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland for their adoption or rejection.

AN ORDINANCE pursuant to proposals of the Anne Arundel
County Charter Revision Commission, to amend the Charter of Anne
Arundel County, Maryland, by repealing and reenacting, with
amendments, Article V, "The Executive Branch", Section 545, "Fire
Administrator" and Section 546, "Fire Advisory Board"; to change
the manner of selection and the term of the Fire Advisory Board;
to change the manner in which the Fire Administrator is selected;
to make certain changes in style; to generally amend the
provisions concerning the Fire Advisory Board and the Fire
Administrator in accordance with the proposal of the Anne Arundel
County Charter Revision Commission; and to submit these
amendments to the qualified voters of Anne Arundel County,
Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
