OCEAN CITY
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Unclassified and Classified Service" by repealing
and reenacting with amendments certain sections of the Charter of
the Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of establishing the various positions of employment with
the Town of Ocean City as being either classified or unclassified
service. [Section C-1004 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date June 22, 1982]
CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-9 SUBJECT: "Merit System Authorized" Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Merit System Authorized" by repealing and
reenacting with amendments certain sections of the Charter of the
Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of establishing a personnel system for Town employees and
for the appointment and promotion of the Town employees based on
merit and fitness. [Section C-1003 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester, County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date June 22, 1982]
CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-10 SUBJECT: "When Taxes Are Overdue." Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "When Taxes Are Overdue" by repealing and
reenacting with amendment a certain section of the Charter of the
Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of allowing the City Council to determine the interest
rate for overdue taxes.
