CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-6 SUBJECT: "Meetings of Mayor and Council" Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Meetings of Mayor and Council" by repealing and
reenacting with amendments certain sections of the Charter of the
Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of establishing the organizational meeting of the Mayor
and Council and to provide for the election of the President of
the Council and for the appointment of the Secretary of the
Council. [Section C-404 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date May 25, 1982]
CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-7 SUBJECT: "Town Attorney" Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Town Attorney" by repealing and reenacting with
amendment a certain section of the Charter of the Town of Ocean
City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the effect of deleting
the appointment of the Town Attorney by the Mayor to bring
Section C-1002 in conformity with Section C-413A. [Section C-1002 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date June 22, 1982]
