OCEAN CITY
[Section C-1403(b) of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date May 4, 1982]
CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-4 SUBJECT: "Qualifications of Voters" Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Qualifications of Voters" by repealing and
reenacting with amendments certain sections of the Charter of the
Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of establishing qualifications of voters for municipal
elections in the Town of Ocean City, Maryland. [Section C-403 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date May 25, 1982]
CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-5 SUBJECT: "Council to be Judge of Qualifications for
Candidates for Mayor or Council" Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Council to be Judge of Qualification for
Candidates for Mayor or Council" by repealing and reenacting with
amendments certain sections of the Charter of the Town of Ocean
City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the effect of
establishing the Council, for the Town of Ocean City as being the
judges of the election and qualifications of applicants for the
office of Mayor or City Councilmen and to establish the regular
municipal election date. [Section C-407 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date May 25, 1982]
