CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-2
SUBJECT: "Board of Supervisors of Elections"
Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Board of Supervisors of Elections" by repealing
and reenacting with amendments certain sections of the Charter of
the Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of establishing a Board of Supervisors of Elections and
providing for the appointment of members thereto.
[Section C-501 of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1982-3
A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended and
replaced), to amend Section C-1403 of the Charter of Mayor and
City Council of Ocean City (1972 Edition, as amended), to
authorize the regulation and control of excessive noise within
the corporate limits of the town by any reasonable and necessary
means, including the establishment of a permit procedure to
ensure that only those owners of real property situated within
the corporate limits of the town who exercise due diligence in
controlling noise on or emanating from their property shall be
permitted to use their property to provide temporary shelter to
the town's transient and temporary population; to establish a
Noise Control Board to implement any ordinance that may from time
to time be enacted by the Mayor and City Council pursuant to
Section C-1403(b) of the Charter; and to provide for judicial
review of any adverse final decision of the Noise Control Board.
