(2) THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS PROVIDING THE
FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR THE SIGN OR NOTICE OF THE LICENSE
TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP:
(I) AN EXPLANATION OF ITS CONTENT;
(II) A DEFINITION OF THE SIZE OF LETTERING TO
BE USED; AND
(III) A DESCRIPTION OF THE APPROPRIATE LOCATION
FOR ITS DISPLAY ON THE PREMISES.
60.
(m) (1) In Montgomery County, BEFORE A LICENSE IS ISSUED OR
TRANSFERRED, the board of license commissioners shall cause a
suitable sign or notice to be posted and to remain posted for a
period of thirty days in a conspicuous place on the premises
described in the application, the posting to be done at least
thirty days before public hearing on the application; and the
notice shall also specify the class of license applied for and
the time and place fixed for a hearing on the application.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act may not
be construed to apply or affect any transfer of ownership of an
alcoholic beverages license in Montgomery County or any
application for a license transfer that is received by the
Montgomery County Board of License Commissioners prior to July 1,
1983.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
