AN ACT concerning
Montgomery County - Alcoholic Beverages License -
Transfer of Ownership
MC 247-83
FOR the purpose of providing that, in Montgomery County, an
applicant for a before the transfer of ownership of an
alcoholic beverages license shall post a notice of the
transfer shall be posted for a certain period of time upon
the premises affected; requiring the Board of License
Commissioners in Montgomery County to adopt certain rules
and regulations concerning the content, lettering, and
display of the notice; and providing a certain prospective
effect of this Act.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
74.
(K)(1) IN ADDITION TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRANSFER OF
OWNERSHIP OF AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE PROVIDED IN THIS
SUBTITLE, ANY LICENSEE APPLYING FOR A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF AN
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY UNDER § 74 OR §
78 OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL POST A SIGN OR NOTICE OF THE TRANSFER OF
OWNERSHIP ON THE LICENSED PREMISES FOR 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE TIME
OF THE HEARING OF THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP.
