SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 22E, 22F, and 22G, respectively, of
Article 95 - Treasurer, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
renumbered to be Section(s) 22F, 22G, and 22H, respectively.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:
Article 95 - Treasurer
22E.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISIONS OF LAW TO THE CONTRARY OR ANY
LIMITATION OR RESTRICTION CONTAINED IN ANY OTHER LAW, THE
TREASURER OF THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANITARY COMMISSION, UNDER
GUIDELINES ADOPTED BY THE COMMISSION BY RULE OR REGULATION, MAY
INVEST, REDEEM, SELL, EXCHANGE, AND REINVEST UNEXPENDED OR
SURPLUS MONEYS FROM ANY FUND OR ACCOUNT OF WHICH THE TREASURER
HAS CUSTODY OR CONTROL IN BANKERS' ACCEPTANCES GUARANTEED BY
BANKING INSTITUTIONS.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
