(3) The license fee shall be $25 a year, and these
fees shall be credited to the Fisheries Research and Development
Fund of the Department.
(4) The license shall be restricted to the leased
oyster ground under the written authorization of the lessee.
(5) The Department may cancel the license at any time
if cancellation is for the benefit of:
(i) Conservation;
(ii) The proper cultivation of oysters; and
(iii) Residents of the State.

(b) Notwithstanding the licensing provisions in Subtitle
10, a person desiring to dredge on leased grounds first shall
obtain from the Department a special [license] PERMIT for the
dredge boat. The fee for this special [license] PERMIT is $15.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any license to
catch, sell, buy, process, transport, export, or otherwise deal
in fish taken from tidal waters, which is valid on July 1, 1983,
shall be valid until September 1, 1983.

|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning
Fishing and Crabbing Licenses -
Suspension for Failure to Appear in Court
FOR the purpose of requiring permitting a court in this State and
the Department of Natural Resources to suspend certain
fishing and crabbing licenses issued to any person who fails
to appear in court for the violation of certain provisions
of the Natural Resources Article; prohibiting the Department
from issuing a new license any new license under this title
to the person until the person appears in court to answer
