periods, on certain grounds, including certain grounds to be
promulgated by departmental regulation, subject to certain
notice and hearing requirements; providing for the effect of
revocation; requiring a licensee to have his license in
possession at certain times and allow certain inspections by
police officers; requiring the Department to assign a
permanent identification number to each licensee; requiring
each licensee to display his identification number as the
Department may require by regulation; requiring that all
tidal fish license fees be deposited to the credit of a
certain fund; requiring that persons dealing in finfish must
obtain a tidal fish license from the Department, subject to
certain exceptions; repealing and amending certain
provisions of certain sections of Title 4 to be consistent
with new provisions concerning the tidal fish license;
requiring that the Department may not authorize a licensee
to set a pound net within certain distances of any other
pound nets; repealing a certain authorization to employ an
anchored gill net under a restricted gill net license;
altering the size of net that may be used under a restricted
gill net license; requiring that the person who owns or is
in charge of an operating vessel utilized to catch crabs
must be licensed; establishing a certain limit on the amount
of crabs that may be caught by unlicensed persons on any
day; requiring that the person who owns or is in charge of
operating a dredge boat utilized to catch oysters must be
licensed; removing a certain limitation on the type of rake
which may be used to catch hard-shell clams in Worcester
County; removing the requirement that a lessee obtain a
license to catch oysters on leased ground; providing that a
nonresident may catch surf clams or conch under a tidal fish
license and may take oysters on leased land under a special
permit; requiring that a person desiring to dredge on leased
grounds must obtain a certain permit; authorizing
nonresidents to obtain tidal fish licenses to catch certain
fish for commercial purposes; and generally relating to
licenses to catch and deal in fish taken from tidal waters. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Natural Resources Section 4-210, 4-704, 4-705, 4-709, 4-710(b), 4-736,
4-738(a), 4-804, 4-807, 4-902, 4-906, 4-1004,
4-1013(a), (c) and (d), 4-1017, 4-1024, 4-1027,
4-1033, 4-1041, 4-1116(d), and 4-1117(b) Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1982 Supplement) BY repealing Article - Natural Resources Section 4-702, 4-703, 4-707, 4-805, 4-806, 4-1026, 4-1034, and 4-1116(b)
