|
The former language "for the collection and disposal
of sewage or industrial waste of a liquid nature,
including various devices for the treatment of that
sewage and industrial waste" is deleted for clarity
and as included in a combined reading of the defined
terms "sewage" and "sewerage system".
(C) COMMUNITY WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM.
"COMMUNITY WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM" MEANS A WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
THAT SERVES AT LEAST 2 LOTS.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from former HE § 9-501(d).
The former language "a source of water and a
distribution system, including treatment facilities
and storage facilities, whether publicly or privately
owned" is deleted as included in the defined term
"water supply system".
(D) COUNTY PLAN.
(1) "COUNTY PLAN" MEANS A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR
ADEQUATELY PROVIDING THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY, INCLUDING ALL TOWNS,
MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS, AND SANITARY DISTRICTS IN THE COUNTY, THE
FOLLOWING FACILITIES AND SERVICES BY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE OWNERSHIP:
(I) WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS;
(II) SEWERAGE SYSTEMS;
(III) SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS;
(IV) SOLID WASTE ACCEPTANCE FACILITIES; AND
(V) SYSTEMATIC COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID
WASTE, INCLUDING LITTER.
(2) "COUNTY PLAN" INCLUDES A REVISED OR AMENDED
COUNTY PLAN.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from former HE § 9-501(e)
and, as it related to the contents of a county plan,
the first sentence of § 9-502(a).
(E) INDIVIDUAL SEWERAGE SYSTEM.
"INDIVIDUAL SEWERAGE SYSTEM" MEANS A SEWERAGE SYSTEM THAT
SERVES ONLY 1 LOT.
