The former references to a "single system of sewers
and piping, treatment tanks, or other facilities" and
"disposing of sewage or industrial waste of a liquid
nature, in whole or in part, on or in the soil of the
property, into any waters of this State, or by other
methods" are deleted as included in a combined reading
of the defined terms "sewage" and "sewerage system".
(F) INDIVIDUAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM.
"INDIVIDUAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM" MEANS A WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
THAT SUPPLIES WATER TO ONLY 1 LOT.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from former HE § 9-501(g).
The former clause "a single system of piping, pumps,
tanks, or other facilities utilizing a source of
ground or surface water" is deleted as included in the
defined term "water supply system".
(G) LITTER.
"LITTER" MEANS ANY:
(1) WASTE MATERIAL;
(2) REFUSE;
(3) GARBAGE;
(4) TRASH;
(5) DEBRIS;
(6) DEAD ANIMAL; OR
(7) OTHER DISCARDED MATERIAL.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly appeared as HE §
9-501(h).
The former term "rubbish" is deleted to conform to the
administrative interpretation of the Department that
this term is obsolete.
The only other changes are in style.
(H) LOT.
"LOT" MEANS A PARCEL OF LAND, INCLUDING A PART OF A
SUBDIVISION, THAT:
(1) IS USED OR IS INTENDED TO BE USED AS A BUILDING
SITE; AND
