North 89° 43' 14" East 82.00' to the existing boundary line
of Baltimore City at coordinates East 541,022.1 and North
932,969.5, running thence and binding on the said line, South 0° 29' 28" West 140.00' to the intersection of said
line and the north side of Lot #574 at coordinates East 540,882.1
and North 932,968.3, and running thence from said point and
binding along the north side of said lot, South 89° 43' 14" West 80.60' to the northwest corner of
said lot at coordinates East 540,881.7 and North 932,887.7, and
running thence and binding on the west side or rear of Lots #574
through #580 inclusive, South 0° 30' 15" East 140.00' to the corner between Lots
#580 and #581 at coordinates East 540,741.7 and North 932,888.9,
and thence binding on the division line between Lots #580 and
#581 to the point where said line intersects the existing
boundary, North 89° 43' 14" East 79.20' to coordinate point East
540,742.1 and North 932,968.1, and thence along the existing
boundary.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That before this Act
becomes effective, it shall first be submitted to a referendum of
the legally qualified voters who reside in that part of Baltimore
City affected by this Act. The referendum shall be held at the
general election in November, 1984. The Board of Supervisors of
Elections for Baltimore City shall do those things necessary and
proper to provide for and hold the referendum required by this
Act. There shall be printed on the ballots or ballot labels to
be used in this election the title of this Act and underneath
this title, on separate lines, a square or a box to the right of
and opposite the words: "For Alteration of City/County Boundary"
and a corresponding square or box to the right of and opposite
the words: "Against Alteration of City/County Boundary" so that
each voter may designate his or her decision for or against the
provisions of this Act. If a majority of the votes cast in the
election are "For Alteration of City/County Boundary" the
provisions of this Act shall become effective on January 1, 1985,
but if a majority of the votes cast in the election are "Against
Alteration of City/County Boundary" the provisions of this Act
are null and void.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, if a majority
of the votes cast in the election are "For Alteration of
City/County Boundary", that part of Baltimore City described in
Section 1 of this Act is a part of Baltimore County, and the
inhabitants shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges as
are held and enjoyed by the inhabitants of Baltimore County. If
the boundary between Baltimore City and Baltimore County is
