AN ACT concerning
The Maryland Condominium Law - Certification of Plats
FOR the purpose of allowing any registered surveyor who is
authorized to practice his profession in the State to
certify a condominium plat.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Real Property
Section ll-105(d)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Real Property
11-105.
(d) A condominium plat is sufficient for the purposes of
this title if there is attached to, or included in it, a
certificate of a [licensed land] REGISTERED surveyor authorized
to practice his profession in the State that (i) the plat,
together with the applicable wording of the declaration, is a
correct representation of the condominium described, and (ii) the
identification and location of each unit and the common elements,
as constructed, can be determined from them.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
