(2) The liquor control board of Harford County [shall
designate the exempted] MAY EXEMPT places SIMILAR TO THOSE LISTED
IN SUBPARAGRAPH (III) OF PARAGRAPH (2) (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION on
a case-by-case basis FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE
SUBSECTION. (3) The liquor control board of Harford County shall
adopt uniform rules for the administration of exceptions
specified in PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION. (4) [A person, club, organization, or place of public
entertainment that violates this section shall be fined not more
than $1,000] ANY OWNER, OPERATOR, MANAGER, OR EMPLOYEE OF
PREMISES OR PLACES SUBJECT TO THE PROHIBITIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION
WHO SHALL KNOWINGLY PERMIT SUCH CONSUMPTION IN VIOLATION OF THIS
SUBSECTION SHALL BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON CONVICTION
THEREOF SHALL BE FINED NOT MORE THAN $1,000.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

(Senate Bill 744) Foster Care Review Boards
AN ACT concerning
FOR the purpose of altering the composition of the Maryland
citizen board for review of foster care for children;
permitting the chairman of that board to serve for more than
1 consecutive term; establishing special categories for
certain foster care children; encouraging local citizen
boards of review of foster care for children in their
efforts to achieve return to natural parents, placement with
relatives or adoption; altering the standard that local
boards apply under certain circumstances altering the term
of office of State board members; providing that certain
State board members may continue to serve for the term of
office for which they were appointed; providing for an
alternative placement for certain children; and making
stylistic changes. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 88A - Social Services Administration
Section 115, 118, and 119
