Cecil County - Alcoholic Beverages
FOR the purpose of providing that if an alcoholic beverages
license in Cecil County is issued to individuals as officers
of a corporation and there is a change in officers, the
corporation shall provide written notice by certified mail
to the board of license commissioners within a certain time;
providing that the written notice shall be accompanied by a
certain fee and certain information; providing that the
board of license commissioners shall issue a revised license
listing certain information; and generally relating to the
issuance of an alcoholic beverages license in Cecil County
to individuals as officers of a corporation.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
40.
(H) (1) IN CECIL COUNTY, IF A LICENSE IS ISSUED TO
INDIVIDUALS AS OFFICERS OF A CORPORATION AND THERE IS A CHANGE IN
1 OR MORE OFFICERS, THE CORPORATION SHALL PROVIDE WRITTEN NOTICE
BY CERTIFIED MAIL TO THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS WITHIN 30
DAYS AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE NEW OFFICER OR OFFICERS.
(2) THE WRITTEN NOTICE FURNISHED BY THE CORPORATION
TO THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A
$5 FEE AND A SWORN STATEMENT GIVING THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF EACH
NEW OFFICER, THE OFFICE HELD, AND THE PREVIOUS OFFICER'S NAME AND
ADDRESS.
(3) UPON RECEIPT OF WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF A CHANGE
IN CORPORATE OFFICERS, THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS SHALL
ISSUE A REVISED LICENSE LISTING THE INDIVIDUALS AS CURRENT
OFFICERS OF THE CORPORATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
