(ii) No Class ND, NE, [or] NF, OR NG license
shall permit the operation of any bingo game on Sunday prior to 1
p.m.
(9) The County Commissioners of Calvert County may
revoke any bingo license when the licensee has been found guilty
by a court of competent jurisdiction of violating any provision
of this section OR OF BEING CONVICTED OF ANY FELONY.
(10) No Class NA, Class NB, Class NC, Class ND, [or]
Class NE, CLASS NF, OR CLASS NG license shall be required for the
operation of any such bingo game by any patriotic, educational,
religious, charitable, benevolent or civic organization or
volunteer fire company or other agency authorized by law to
operate any such game.
[(11) Present holders of Class NA, Class NB and Class
NC bingo licenses shall be permitted to continue to operate bingo
games under the licenses now held until the expiration date of
the license without payment of any additional license fee
therefor, but subject nevertheless to all of the regulations
adopted by this section.]
[(12)] (11) Notwithstanding anything contained in
this section all applications required for any type of license
shall be signed and sworn to by the applicant upon forms provided
therefor before any license shall be issued. The County
Commissioners shall not be required to make an investigation
prior to the issuance of such license, but may refuse such
license on the facts disclosed by the application; or, if upon
investigation by the County Commissioners AT ANY TIME it be found
that the person or corporation requesting the issuance of such
license has made a false statement in the application or that the
operation of bingo games at the proposed premises would DISTURB
THE PEACE AND QUIET OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD OR WOULD create a
nuisance or be detrimental to the [peace,] morals, [and] HEALTH
OR welfare of the community, then the County Commissioners may
forthwith revoke such license and the applicant shall be subject
to all the penalties provided by law.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
