1982 SENATE 25
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 276.
This bill alters requirements for a member of the
Employees' Retirement System to be entitled to credit for
previous service rendered as a full-time paid employee of a
municipal corporation of this State.
House Bill 492, which was passed by the General
Assembly and signed by me on June 1, 1982, accomplishes the
same purpose. Therefore it is not necessary for me to sign
Senate Bill 276.
