This bill provides that money from trooper fines,
miscellaneous donations, and sale of unclaimed personal
property in the possession of the State Police shall go to
the State General Fund, rather than the Old State Police
Pension Fund.
House Bill 489, which was passed by the General
Assembly and signed by me on June 1, 1982, accomplishes the
same purpose. Therefore it is not necessary for me to sign
Senate Bill 273.
