"repealing the schedule of unemployment benefits and
establishing a new method for the determination of weekly
benefit amounts by providing that an individual's weekly
benefits shall be equal to a certain percentage of the
individual's average weekly wage; relating generally to
unemployment benefit amounts;".
Amendment No. 2 -
After the line following line 57 on page 1, insert:

Amendment No. 3 -
After line 69 on page 1, insert:
"SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 3(b)(1) of Article 95A - Unemployment
Insurance Law of the Annotated Code of Maryland (as enacted
by Chapter 607 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1982
Regular Session) be repealed.".
Amendment No. 4 -
Strike in its entirety line 72 on page 1 and substitute
"SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED"; and in line 73
strike "MARYLAND".
