AN ACT to amend Section 1.302 "Appointment,
Classification and Grades of Executive Exempt Positions" of
the Howard County Code in order to restore language
regarding reversion rights that was inadvertently omitted
from earlier legislation.

AN ACT amending Section 20.200 "Lien Certificates" of
Title 20 "Taxation and Public Credit" of the Howard County
Code in order to increase the charge for a lien certificate
from $2 to $5.

Bill No. 92

AN ACT to add new Section 17.114 "Smoke Detectors", to
Subtitle 1. "Fire Protection" Title 17 "Public Protection
Services" of the Howard County Code for the purpose of
requiring the installation of smoke detectors in Residential
buildings, excluding one and two family dwellings, which
were constructed before July 1, 1975.

Bill No. 112

AN ACT Amending Section 18.101.1 "Middle Patuxent
Drainage Area Subdistrict" of Title 18 "Public Works" of the
Howard County Code in order to clarify which properties are
included in the subdistrict.

AN ACT to add new Subtitle 2, "Compensation," to Title
5 "County Council," of the Howard County Code for the
purpose of establishing the annual salary to be paid to each
member of the County Council, beginning December 6, 1982.
