AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal and reenact, with
amendments, Section 17-612(a) AND (D) of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 17,
"Taxation", Subtitle 6, "Water and Wastewater Charges and
Assessments", to alter certain provisions relating to the
recommendation to and adoption by the County Council of
rates for front foot assessments for construction of lateral
water and wastewater lines and appurtenances.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and reenact, with amendments,
Section 3-206(5) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 3, "Buildings", Subtitle 2,
"Structural Requirements"; Section 11A-1205 of said Code,
Title 11A, "Housing Occupancy and Maintenance Code",
Subtitle 12, "Licenses"; Sections 12-1108 and 12-1112(d) of
said Code, Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises",
Subtitle 11, "Plumbing", Article II, "Permits and
Installations"; and Sections 12-2101(a) and 12-2103(a) of
said Code, Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises",
Subtitle 21, "Swimming Pools"; to increase the fee for a
percolation or soil test from $25 to $35; to provide that
the fee therefor shall be payable in advance; to increase
the per unit fee for a multiple dwelling license from $10 to
$15; to increase the fee for inspection of the installation
of a sewerage system from $25 to $30; to increase the
breakdown of the separate sewerage system inspection fee for
installation of the septic tank and installation of the
secondary treatment device from $12.50 to $15.00; to
increase the fee for an individual well water analysis from
$6 to $10; to increase the fee for a commercial public
swimming pool permit from $50 to $100 and for a community
pool from $25 to $50; to establish a fee of $5 for a
swimming pool lifeguard license; and other matters generally
related thereto.
