5858                                      MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

adopted on May 25, 1977, and constituting an amendment to
the municipal charter of the body politic and corporate
known as the Town of Port Deposit, and to annex and include
the following described land in the boundaries of taxable
limits of the Town of Port Deposit.

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 19 (b) of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), at
least 25 percent or more of the registered voters in County
elections who reside in the hereinafter described area, and
the owners of at least 25 percent of the assessed valuation
in the said area have consented to the Mayor and Council of
the Town of Port Deposit to annex said area into the
corporate boundaries of the Town of Port Deposit; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Port
Deposit are desirous of annexing the hereinafter described
area into the corporate boundaries and taxable limits of the
Town of Port Deposit this Resolution is adopted.

[Article II, Section 201 of the Charter of the Town of
Port Deposit, Cecil County, added.

Effective Date May 22, 1981]

PRINCESS ANNE

(Somerset County)

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION

PURSUANT to Article 23A Section 19 as amended, the
President and Commissioners of Princess Anne, a Municipal
Corporation of the State of Maryland, hereby resolves to
annex the following described parcels of land to the
existing corporate limits of the town of Princess Anne:

Somerset County, added.

Effective Date January 15, 1981]
