provisions and limitations of Section C-718), of tax
anticipation notes which may be sold by public or private
(negotiated) sale; and generally pertaining to such
supplementary appropriations, and borrowing to meet, provide
for or deal with emergencies and unforeseen or unanticipated
occurrences.

CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1981-9
SUBJECT: "To provide for a city-manager form of
government."
Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E
of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as
amended, to amend the Charter of Ocean City, the amendment
to be entitled: "To provide for a city-manager form of
government" by repealing and re-enacting certain sections.
These amendments shall have the effect of establishing the
office of city manager with general administrative,
supervisory and financial duties, and relieving the
clerk-treasurer of all financial duties.
[Sections 701, 702, 704, 707, 710, 713, 715, 721, 1001,
1214, 1217, 1401, and 1402, of the Charter of Ocean City,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
