CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1981-11

SUBJECT: "To rescind charter amendment No. 1981-8."

Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E
of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as
amended, in order to enact two (2) charter resolutions, one
redefining the executive powers of the town, and the other
to provide for the city manager form of government, Charter
Resolution No. 1981-8 should be rescinded.

RESOLUTION 81-1

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF PERRYVILLE
REVOKING THE EXISTING MUNICIPAL CHARTER OF PERRYVILLE AND
ADOPTING A NEW CHARTER FOR THE TOWN OF PERRYVILLE.

RESOLUTION of the Commissioners of the Town of
Perryville, Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition as
amended, entitled "Corporations - Municipal", to revoke the
existing Charter of the Town of Perryville, being Chapter
Twenty-nine of the Code of Cecil County, 1970 edition, (also
being Article Eight of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), and to adopt a new Charter for the Town of
Perryville to read as hereinafter set forth.

[Sections 29-1 through 29-27 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Cecil County, repealed and Sections 1 through
13 of the Charter of the Town of Perryville, added.

Effective Date July 4, 1981]
