RESOLUTION FOR CHARTER AMENDMENT

Be it resolved this 3rd day of November in the year
1981 by a majority vote of the Mayor and Council of the Town
of Millington, Maryland that an amendment be proposed to
item 49 (when taxes are overdue) of the Charter for the Town
of Millington, Maryland. Said item 49, as amended would be
as follows:

[Section 49 of the Charter of the Town of Millington,
Kent County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date December 23, 1981]

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1-1981

WHEREAS, the City of Mt. Rainier is desirous of
eliminating the limited number of days for registrations to
vote in City Elections.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Section 53-16(a) of
the Charter of Mt. Rainier is hereby repealed and re-enacted
as follows, and any section or sections of the existing
Charter which are inconsistent with the amended section are
hereby repealed:

George's County, repealed and reenacted.
