5802 MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
RESOLUTION of the Council of the Town of Bladensburg to
amend the Charter of the Town of Bladensburg, this amendment
to be entitled "Annual Tax Rate", such being the 2nd.
amendment to the Charter by striking that the amount of
taxes levied for any fiscal year not exceed seventy-five
cents ($.75) on the one hundred dollar ($100.00) assessed
property valuation and to provide that the amount of taxes
levied for any fiscal year shall be set annually by
resolution of the Council.
[Article V, Section 502-A of the Charter of the Town of
Bladensburg, Prince George's County, repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.
Effective Date June 2, 1981]

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1-81
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE,
MARYLAND adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of
the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended)
to amend Section 16 entitled "(Salary of the Mayor)", said
Section being Section 5-16 of Subtitle 5 of Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as
amended), which article contains in whole or in part the
Charter of the City of Bowie, by repealing and re-enacting
with amendment said Section 16 increasing from $5,100.00 to
$6,000.00 the salary for Mayor.
[Section 5-16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, (1963 edition, as amended) repealed
and reenacted, with amendments.
