RESOLVED, That staff for the committee be provided by
the Department of Legislative Reference; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this House Joint Resolution be
forwarded to the Honorable Harry Hughes, Governor of
Maryland; the Honorable James Clark, Jr., President of the
Senate of Maryland; the Honorable Benjamin Cardin, Speaker

A House Joint Resolution concerning
Penetrating Bullets
FOR the purpose of urging Congress- to introduce and pass
legislation defining and banning the manufacture, sale,
use, possession, and importation of bullets, the sole
purpose of which is to defeat the protection offered to
law enforcement officers wearing bulletproof vests.
WHEREAS, Law enforcement is essential to the exercise
of our rights and liberties in an environment that is safe
from crime; and
