[(ii)] (III) This authority to direct

modifications in location may be exercised to effect

reasonable changes in the location of the major project by
the Montgomery County Council or the Prince George's County
governing body, depending on the county in which the major
project is located, when the major project is first approved
as a part of the WSSC capital improvements program.

(3) After approval of the major project in the
WSSC capital improvements program, the Montgomery County
Council or the Prince George's County governing body,
depending on the county in which the major project is
located, may make further modifications only:

(i) If the modifications do not result in
substantial net additional costs or expenses to the WSSC; or

(ii) If the county directing the

modification reimburses the WSSC for substantial net
additional costs or expenses.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That: (1) if
Chapter___of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1982 (H.B.
1802) does not become effective, Sections 1 and 2 of this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1982 and Sections 3 and 4 of
this Act shall be null and void without the necessity of
further action by the General Assembly; or (2) if

Chapter ___of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1982 (H.B.

1802) takes effect, Sections 3 and 4 of this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1982 and Sections 1 and 2 of this Act shall
be null and void without the necessity of further action by
the General Assembly.

AN ACT concerning

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission - Commissioners'

Salaries

FOR the purpose of altering increasing the salaries of the
chairman, vice chairman, and commissioners of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission; clarifying
language; making certain provisions of this Act
contingent on the passage of certain other Acts; and
