HARRY HUGHES, Governor

459

In item (l)(ii) of this section, the phrase
"county drug abuse program" is substituted for
"local program", for clarity.

In item (2) of this section, reference to

"revising annually" is substituted for the

reference to developing an "annual" plan, to
conform to practice.

Item (5) of this section is derived from the
reference in former Article 43B, § 3A(d)(3) to
"agreed upon priorities" and revised to state
expressly that the councils set their own
priorities for allocation of funds, for purposes
of their recommendations under item (6) of this
section.

Item (7) of this section is revised to clarify
that a county advisory council does not review an
application for a grant unless the application
affects its county.

In item (8) of this section, the reference to
"information and advice" is substituted for the
ambiguous reference to "input".

In item (11) of this section, the reference to
the "State comprehensive drug abuse control plan"
is substituted for the reference to the "State
drug abuse plan", to conform to other references
in this title.

Defined terms: "County". § 1-101
