AN ACT concerning

State Board of Commissioners of Practical Plumbing

FOR the purpose of continuing the existence of the State
Board of Commissioners of Practical Plumbing in
accordance with the Regulatory Programs Evaluation Act
of 1978 (Sunset Law) by extending to a certain date the
termination provisions for the Board.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 523) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1982) read(s) as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

The provisions of this subtitle creating the State
Board of Commissioners of Practical Plumbing and relating to
the regulation of plumbers and any regulations promulgated
under this subtitle are of no effect and may not be enforced
after July 1, [1983] 1989 1993.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
