(C) A HOLDER OF A CERTIFICATE AS A MANICURIST MAY
PRACTICE BEAUTY CULTURE AT ANY LOCATION THE HOLDER DESIRES.

488.

(A)  It shall be unlawful for any person to practice
beauty culture of any kind in any place other than a
registered beauty shop, or a licensed barbershop under the
supervision of a licensed senior manager[;].

(B)  [provided that nothing] NOTHING contained in this
subtitle shall prevent duly registered operators sponsored
by a registered beauty shop from practicing beauty culture
upon their patrons in the residence of such patrons by
appointment.

(C)  THIS SECTION DOES NOT PREVENT A HOLDER OF A
CERTIFICATE AS A MANICURIST FROM PRACTICING BEAUTY CULTURE
AT ANY LOCATION THE HOLDER DESIRES HIS OR HER PROFESSION IN
A BARBERSHOP WHEN A LICENSED SENIOR MANAGER IS NOT EMPLOYED.

499.

(A) All examination fees shall be five dollars

($5.00), and the registration fees for the issuance of
licenses, with or without examination, shall be as follows:
[(a)] Twenty dollars ($20.00) for beauty shop owners,
managers and teachers, annual renewal fee of twenty dollars

($20.00).

(B) All examination fees shall be five dollars

($5.00), and the registration fees for the issuance of
licenses, with or without examination, shall be as follows:

[(b)] (1) Annual renewal fee of five FIVE dollars
($5.00) for operators, manicurist, cosmeticians, wig

stylists, and demonstrators, ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE OF FIVE
DOLLARS ($5.00).

[(c)] (2) Two dollars ($2.00) for students and

apprentices, annual renewal fee of two dollars ($2.00).

[(d)] (3) One hundred dollars ($1.00) for schools of
beauty culture. Public and parochial schools, however, are
hereby declared to be exempted from the payment of any
license fees, but are subject to the other provisions of

this subtitle. Annual renewal fees shall be the same as

registration except in the case of schools which shall be
fifty dollars ($50.00).

[(e)] (4) Five dollars ($5.00) for cosmetologist aide,
annual renewal fee of five dollars ($5.00).

[(f)](5) One dollar ($1.00) for temporary license.
