on plumbing (with the exception of those provisions relating
to the examination and licensing of persons desiring to work
at the plumbing business by the State Board of Commissioners
of Practical Plumbing), shall not apply to Anne Arundel
County provided that prior to October 1, 1968, the County
Council of said county, after a public hearing, adopts for
its plumbing code the seventh draft of the proposed revision
of the State Plumbing Code drafted by the committee on
revision of the Maryland State Plumbing Code, with such
amendments as may be adopted from time to time.

SECTION 6 7 . AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That:

be and they are hereby repealed.

SECTION 7 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Sections 1 and 2 3 of this Act shall take effect June 1,
1982. Sections 3 through 6 2 and 4 through 7 of this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982, contingent upon the taking

effect of Chapters____ of the Acts of 1982 (House Bill

Number 200 and Senate Bill Number___), and if Chapters

do not become effective. Sections 3 through 6 2 and 4
through 7 of this Act shall be null and void without the
necessity of further action by the General Assembly.

SECTION 8 9 . AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
section(s) 18-309 of the Health - General Article (as

enacted by Ch. ___ of the Acts of 1982 (H.B. 200)), be and

it is hereby repealed on July 1, 1983.
