SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held invalid for any reason, the
invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or any
other application of this Act which can be given effect-
without the invalid provisions or application, and to this
end all the provisions of this Act are declared to be
severable.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the passage
of this Act is contingent upon the passage of H.B. 1802
(PG/MC 33-82) of 1982. Should that measure fail of
enactment, the provisions of this Act are null and void
without the need of further action by the General Assembly.

SECTION 3 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission - Penalties

PG/MC 15-82

FOR the purpose of altering the maximum amount that may be
levied as a fine by a court for violations of the laws,
rules, and regulations of the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District which are misdemeanors; making
certain provisions of this Act contingent on the
passage of certain other Acts; and clarifying language.
