for [his, her or their] THE OWNER'S benefit, [such] A sum
[as] THAT the [commission] WSSC [shall estimate] ESTIMATES
to be the fair value of the property being acquired by [it,
which estimate, however,] THE WSSC.

(3)  THE ESTIMATE may not be less than the
appraised value of the land or interest [therein] IN LAND
being taken as evaluated by at least one experienced and
qualified appraiser, whose qualifications as an appraiser
have been accepted by a court of record of [the] THIS State
[of Maryland, and provided, further, that the].

(4)  THE payment to the property [owner(s)] OWNER
or [into] TO the court for [his, her or their] THE OWNER'S
benefit [shall in no way] DOES NOT limit the amount which
may finally be awarded in subsequent condemnation
proceedings with respect to the land or interests in land so
taken.

(B)  [No] A building [or buildings] may NOT be taken
under the provisions of this section.

(C) (1) If the money is paid into the court for the
benefit of the owner [or owners] of the land or interests in
land involved, the property [owner(s)] OWNER, [may, upon] ON
written request to the clerk of the court, MAY receive the
sum [so] paid without prejudice to any of [his, her or
their] THE OWNER'S rights, if the property [owner(s)] OWNER
[agree] AGREES to pay back to the [commission] WSSC the
difference, if any, between the sum and the final award.

(2)  If the [commission] WSSC and the owner [or
owners] of the land or interests in land being taken are
unable to agree as to the compensation and damages, if any,
caused by the taking, the [commission] WSSC shall institute
condemnation proceedings in the manner prescribed by [the
provisions of] THE REAL PROPERTY Article [33A of the
Annotated Code of Public General Laws and, if].

(3)  IF the condemnation proceedings are hot
instituted at the same time as the [commission] WSSC pays
the money to the owner [or owners] or to the court for [his,
its or their] THE OWNER'S benefit, [as the case may be, then
it shall be the duty of the commission to] THE WSSC SHALL
institute [such] proceedings not later than 30 days after
receipt of notice from the property [owner(s)] OWNER that
the disagreement exists[, and the duty of the].

(4)  THE court [to] SHALL hear and determine
[such] THE proceedings as soon [thereafter] as practicable
AFTER THE APPLICATION TO THE COURT.

(5)  [It is the intention] THE INTENT of this
section IS to provide that IN EMERGENCIES land or interests
[therein] IN LAND may[, in emergencies, in the discretion of
